New Britain police have made an arrest in a shooting from last week that left the victim with serious injuries.
Twenty-nine-year-old Pedro Colon of Bristol is charged.
New Britain officers say last Wednesday afternoon, Colon shot a 23-year-old victim in the face and fled the scene.
The victim sustained serious facial wounds but is expected to survive.
As for Colon, he was taken into custody without inciden Sunday at a Bristol restaurant.
He faces a host of charges, including criminal attempt to commit murder, assault, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal use of a firearm.
Colon is being held on $1 million bond and is being arraigned today in New Britain.
