UConn Professor Arrested For Public Urination

A UConn organic chemistry professor has been arrested.

Greenwich police arrested Gabriel Fenteany, 46, earlier this week after he urinated in a parking lot and vandalized vehicles there during a drunken night on Lafayette Court in Greenwich in October.

Fenteany ripped the side-view mirrors off a half dozen cars. He was also seen spitting and kicking during his parking lot stupor.

Fenteany is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.

Fenteany – who lives in Vernon – is currently on administrative leave at UConn and not allowed back on campus until the investigation is completed.
