Man Arrested In Clinton Home Invasion/Assault

On. Nov. 30, just before 8 p.m., Clinton police responded to a private residence on Walnut Hill Road for a report of an active dispute/ assault.

Kevin Dorothy, 31, of 81 Pattagansett Rd., East Lyme, forcibly entered the home by breaking a locked exterior door and confronted a man and woman inside the home. The woman was his wife, the man, the homeowner.

Dorothy assaulted the man, who was taken to the hospital with face and head injuries, treated and released.

Dorothy was arrested and charged with home invasion, second-degree burglary, second-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

He posted $10,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown Dec. 2.
