So far, things are running smoothly at Bradley International Airport this day before Thanksgiving.
Spokesman John Wallace says in spite of a storm making a mess in the eastern U.S., few flights have been impacted there.
He says they saw about a half dozen delays and three cancellations early this morning but on a typical day, they handle about 200 commercial flights daily.
Wallace says foot traffic around the airport has been busy but it really started last week, as many decided to take this week off.
Sunday promises to be among the busiest travel days of the year, says Wallace, with the amount of return flights.
He advises getting to the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight time.
Officials also advise contacting one’s carrier and not the airport to check in flight delays.
