Hartford Man Nabbed In Heroin Bust

A Hartford man is facing charges after police say he was conducting a heroin sale with officers from the East Central Narcotics Task Force.

Agents say Monday night they conducted a “buy bust” operation in the parking lot of a Glastonbury 7-Eleven on Main Street.

The alleged dealer, identified as 50-year-old Reinaldo “Ray Ray” Perez, was taken into custody.

Task force members seized 19 bags of heroin during the bust.

Perez has a long arrest history and was hit with two separate arrest warrants at the time.

He faces charges of possession and sale of heroin and is being held on $100,000 bond.
