Bridgeport Police Investigating 11th Homicide This Year

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) _ Bridgeport police say a man was shot to death in the city’s 11th homicide of the year.

Officers and paramedics responded to the shooting near the intersection of Sedgewick Street and North Avenue at about 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the man appeared to have been shot once. He was pronounced dead at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

The man has been identified as Karlhenry Gay, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Police haven’t made any arrests and are looking for suspects. Anyone with information is urged to call Bridgeport police.
