Man Accused In Car Burglary Ring

South Windsor police have made a second arrest in connection with a string of car burglaries in affluent areas.

Thirty-two-year-old Eric Johnson was picked up Friday.

According to police, Johnson is one of three suspects accused of parking in a neighborhood and targeting unlocked vehicles.

The suspects allegedly rifled through the vehicles and took anything of value from them.

Johnson faces 17 counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and seven counts of conspiracy to commit larceny.

He’s being arraigned today in Manchester Superior Court.

Police last week picked up an alleged co-conspirator identified as Andrew Dupree.
