Hamden Police were called to 3235 Whitney Avenue late Halloween  night on the report of a large  crowd making a  lot of noise, parking complaints  and traffic safety concerns.When police arrived they  found about  150 people  in the front and back yards. Many  were intoxicated and police say their  music was excessively loud.About 350 people  found inside the residence.

Police dispersed the crowd and Quinnipiac University was notified  to  transport a large number  of party-goers  back to the school.

As the  crowd began to leave , officers were told a 21 year  of  man  had fallen into an abandoned 15 foot well in the  back yard.The Hamden Fire Department was called  and   extricated   man.He refused medical treatment.

5 residents of the house  were  arrested  and were charged with Breach of Peace.They were released  on a written promise to appear in court in Meriden November 6th.
