Senator Chris Murphy is headed overseas to discuss surveillance allegations involving the NSA and European allies.

Murphy today announced he’ll lead a bipartisan delegation to meet with leaders from several European countries.

The senator chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on European Affairs.

He says the concerns raised by European allies are legitimate and admits, at times, have not showed appropriate restraint and security.

Murphy says exact details of the trip are still being ironed out.
