Here’s a look at what you can hear this morning with Ray Dunaway…
6:50am: Deb Chamberlain, our incoming state president elect of Connecticut REALTORS®, discusses the Shorline real estate market.
7:20am: Kevin Counihan from Access Health CT will be on to talk about the application and enrollment system on HealthCare.gov. Recently, the Data Services Hub experienced an outage because Terremark, the company that operates the data center that hosts the HealthCare.gov website, experienced a failure in a networking component, and planned maintenance to replace it brought down network connectivity to the data center. Access Health CT relies on this federal system to verify identities in real time.
8:20am: Christopher Whalen, author and investment banker, shares insight as President Obama and Congress continue to wrestle with competing ideas to fix America’s housing crisis, ranging from abolishing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to introducing new regulations for repairing the rickety mortgage-financing system years after it crashed.
8:50am: Mayor Joe Maturo of East Haven reminisces one year after Superstorm Sandy, and gives an update on how the storm affected his city.
