NEW CANAAN, Conn. (AP) _ A church youth group leader has been arrested on accusations she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
Morgan V. Frawley of Fairfield surrendered to New Canaan police over the weekend. She was charged with risk of injury to a minor and released on $5,000 bond.
Mark Sherman, the lawyer for the teenager and his family, denies a sexual relationship occurred.
Police said the boy’s parents found sexually explicitly images and text messages on his phone. They contacted the Congregational Church of New Canaan, which notified the state Department of Children and Families.
The agency contacted police.
It’s not known if Frawley is represented by a lawyer and she does not have a listed phone number.
She is due in Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 5.
