One Dead In Salisbury Fire

A fire in Salisbury this morning has left one person dead and a home destroyed.

According to state police, firefighters and troopers responded to a single family home on Upper Road after the initial call came in just before five a.m.

Upon arrival, they found the house was fully involved.

Two people inside escaped but authorities say an adult female was found dead inside.

The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

State police detectives from the state fire marshal’s office are investigating the cause of the fire.
