One Dead In Two-Vehicle Crash In Wallingford

A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Cook Hill Road in Wallingford Friday at 10:37 p.m.

Brandon Genovese, 29 of Naugatuck, was driving alone in his 1998 Subaru Legacy when he crashed into a 2011 Hyundai Sonata at the intersection with Shelby Drive. Genovese was taken to MidState Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Darin Quagliaro, 17 of Wallingford, was driving the Hyundai with Justin Cyr, 18 of Middletown, in the passenger seat. Both were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
