Pressure Cooker Prompts Response

A pressure cooker found in Glastonbury this morning prompted a response by the Hartford Bomb Squad.

Police were called just before 8:30 on a call for a suspicious item in the rear of Town Hall at 2155 Main Street near some recycling bins.

The bomb squad secured the area as a precaution.

It turns out the pressure cooker was found to be safe and was left out for recycling.

There were no injuries.
