Billion Dollar Pratt Contract For Joint Strike Fighter Engines

East Hartford-based Pratt & Whitney has signed a $1 billon contract to build F-35 engines for the Pentagon’s  Joint Strike fighter program.

Pratt will supply 38 engines for Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps jets.  The contract also includes funds for engineering support, production and spare parts.
