GLASTONBURY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) - Two teenagers learned their lesson after their parents returned home early from a trip to find them throwing a house party and decided to call the cops on their own children.
According to the Hartford Courant, the girls, ages 15 and 16, threw two parties on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12 while their parents were away on a weekend vacation.
On Sunday, Oct. 13, the teens attempted to throw a third party, thinking that their parents would be returning the following day. However, the parents reportedly decided to come home early.
Deciding it would be “the right thing to do,” the enraged parents called the Glastonbury Police after discovering that their children had thrown the parties. Upon the arrival of the authorities, several kids in attendance reportedly ran from the residence.
The teenagers, who were not named due to their ages, were arrested and are now facing charges of permitting a minor to possess alcohol, the paper learned.
