New Hampshire Police Find Robbery Suspect In Tree

SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) — Police in Seabrook, N.H., say they found a robbery suspect hiding in a tree after he left behind his car key and gun.

They arrested 22-year-old Joseph Reardon following a convenience store robbery Sunday night.

Police said the robber ran out of the store with cash, but left a jacket, loaded handgun and a car key behind.

Police said they pressed the alarm and found the car parked at a nearby apartment complex. A state police K9 unit started tracking Reardon. He was found in the tree.

Reardon faces charges of armed robbery, resisting arrest and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
