Chicago Police Arrest Suspect In Farmington Case Of Assault On A Child

Farmington Police say the warrant is sealed in a multi-state case involving first degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.  Authorities in Illinois and New Jersey also are investigating the case against 54-year-old David Waite,  who waived extradition after being picked up in Chicago on a Farmington warrant.

The warrant itself is sealed,  and Waite is held in lieu of a million dollars bond for arraignment in Hartford Superior Court Tuesday.
