Life Star Called To Scene Of Plainfield Car Accident

Authorities received multiple reports of a two car crash at the intersection of Plainfield Pike and New Road in town.

Just after 10am on Saturday, police say a Ford Taurus driven by state resident Randall King Sr., 67, of Brooklyn was traveling on new road when he crossed the intersection, and smashed into a Dodge Ram traveling on Plainfield Pike.

King was flown to a Rhode Island hospital by Life Star with life threatening injuries. King’s passenger was also taken to a hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

The driver of the other vehicle Jeffery Johnson, 37, of Sterling was not injured in the accident. Police continue to investigate.
