Hartford Man Arrested For Firing Shots After Domestic Dispute

Hartford police have a man in custody after they say he fired a gun in the air following a domestic dispute Friday evening.

It was around 7:20 p.m when officers with the Shooting Task Force and patrol division responded to a report of shots fired on Adams Street.

Investigators found three spent casings from a 9-milimeter Beretta.

The probe zeroed in on 36-year-old Julio Levy.

Officers say Levy fired the weapon through the sunroof of his BMW as he fled a verbal dispute with the mother of his child.

He was later located on Sharon Street.

Levy is charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, recekless endangerment and breach of peace.

Bond was set at $500,000.

Officers say Levy was licensed to carry the gun.
