Police Seek Armed Suspect In Theft Of Oxycontin

Meriden police are investigating a holdup at a Walgreens store Thursday afternoon.  Police say the man lifted his shirt to display a handgun,  and demanded the painkiller Oxycontin.

They released security camera images of the suspect,  described as a white male, about six feet tall, of medium build with grey hair.  He was wearing a blue baseball cap witha white insignia, a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
