Elementary School Students Charged In Deep River School Threat

State Police today arrested two elementary school students, in connection with a threat made at Deep River Elementary School.

The two were charged with breach of peace and threatening.  State Police say the threat involved a possible explosive device.

Police say the threat was made at the school, and the building was evacuated.  Students were taken to John Winthrop Junior High School.

State Police checked the elementary school and deemed it safe.
