It’s interesting to observe the legislature’s priorities, once again I liken it to them fiddling while Rome is burning. In every national ranking of all 50 states on economic growth, job creation and places to do business Connecticut ranks dead last. Yet, the legislature fiddles with public hearings on “puppy mills” and countless task forces that have little to do with anything. All the while , businesses leave , taxes go up and our children and grandchildren seek employment out of state. When it comes to the big issues, like state spending, new taxes, Keno, the gun bill, early release of violent criminals, and the state budget they have no time for public hearings, or public input. Here in Connecticut “dogs rule and taxpayers drool !!
