East Windsor Police Investigate Hotel Robberies

Police in East Windsor are investigating a pair of early morning hotel robberies.

Officers say around five this morning, they received the first call from the Comfort Inn on Prospect Road.

A suspect implied he had a gun and announced the robbery.

He took off with an undetermined amount of cash.

Then, about ten minutes later, police received a call from the Clarion Hotel on Bridge Street.

Again, the suspect implied having a gun and made off with money.

Police say the description of the suspect in the second stickup matches that of the first: a dark skinned black male around five-foot-nine in his 20s.  He was clad in a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the East Windsor police detective bureau at (860) 292 8240, ext. 113.
