Mosquitoes in 20 Connecticut towns have tested positive for West Nile Virus.

In the Hartford area – those towns include Glastonbury, Manchester and a little farther away in Wallingford.

Two state residents have tested positive for WNV; a Stratford man in his 60s, who was never hospitalized and is OK and more recently, a Stamford resident in his or her 80s – that person is also recovering..

Similarly, mosquitoes with Eastern Equine Encephalitis have been identified in three towns – Hampton, Plainfield and Voluntown.
