STORRS, Conn. (AP) _ The University of Connecticut is hosting a daylong conference to help students network with alumni and others who might be able to help them land jobs.
The conference, run by the school’s Center for Career Development, runs until three p.m. today.
Students are being offered sessions on things such as finding an internship, writing resumes and cover letters, and learning how to develop a professional online presence.
Employers attending the event include General Electric Co., Cigna Corp., Webster Bank and many others.
