Second Woman Arrested In Thefts During Open House

Glastonbury Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a theft of some $26,000 worth of jewelry from a home in their town.  Police in other towns have also been interested in the two suspects in connection with similar crimes.

Police say the name of 26-year-old Angela Ruitto of Old Saybrook came up after their May arrest of 43-year-old Sharon Lynn Nigosanti of Hartford in the Glastonbury case.  Both are charged with first-degree larceny.

Guilford Police arrested Ruitti last month in a similar case,  and said police in other towns as far away as New York state wanted to question her.
