80 Year Old Ridgefield Woman Surrenders In Fatal Crash

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ An 80-year-old Ridgefield woman has turned herself in to police on a warrant related to an accident that left a motorcyclist dead.

The News-Times reportsthat Marlene W. Evans surrendered on Tuesday. She was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle in connection with a July 19 accident on Route 7.
The accident led to the death of a motorcyclist, Frank Pasquariello, of New Fairfield. Police say the 56-year-old Pasquariello was struck by a car driven by Evans.

Evans had been taken to the hospital, treated and released.

She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court Sept. 18.
