Police Identify City’s 18th Homicide Victim

Hartford Police have identified the man killed in a shooting on Durham Street over the weekend.  Police say 30-year-old Melvin Perry of Manchester was killed early Sunday morning.  A 34-year-old woman who was with him suffered two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police say Perry suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  He has no known gang affiliation.

It was the city’s 18th homicide of the year.
