Two People Killed In Fiery Hartford Crash

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Hartford police say two people were killed and a third was injured after a car crashed into a building and caught on fire.

The wreck happened at about 1 a.m. Thursday at the corner of Main Street and Albany Avenue in the North End.

Authorities told WFSB-TV ( ) that two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses say a third person was pulled from the car and taken to a hospital.

Police haven’t released the victims’ names or the condition of the survivor.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
