Medical Examiner Releases Information In Coventry Incident

The chief state medical examiner has released more information on the deaths of two Coventry residents from over the weekend.

Forty-seven-year-old Janice Lesko was shot in the torso, according to the M.E.

Gregory Pawloski was 45.  He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators have ruled the deaths a murder-suicide.

It was around 10 o’clock Friday night that officers were called to the home on Stage Road on a report of a disturbance, possibly involving a firearm.

About three hours later, around one a.m. Saturday, officers and those with a State Police tactical team gained entry and discovered the victims.

There’s no word yet on circumstances surrounding the shootings.
