Man Arrested in Alleged State Park Poisoning Threat

A Madison man has been arrested after allegedly  threatening to poison the waters at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth.

Department of Energy and Environmental Protection employees  began receiving  emails  of a threatening  nature Tuesday afternoon.

An investigation was launched  by DEEP EnCon  Police  , along with Connecticut State Police.That led to the arrest of  55 year old Wayde Isakson.

Isakson has been charged with  Threatening in the First Degree,Breach of Peace and Making Terroristic Threats.

The park and swimming areas remain closed until further notice.

The incident remains under investigation.
