Glastonbury police are charging a man after they say he was behind a large party in which minors were drinking alcohol.
Nineteen-year-old Samuel Scannell is charged with risk of injury to a minor and allowing minors to possess alcohol in a dwelling.
According to police, the party took place May 12.
Officers were called that night on a report of an apparently intoxicated female staggering in the area of Tall Timbers Road, knocking on residents’ doors.
They say the 15-year-old had come from Scannell’s residence. They then noticed about 20 vehicles parked at the home, youngsters running from the scene upon their arrival.
As for Scannell, his bond was set at $5,000 and he’s due in court September 11.
