Woman Charged In Thefts From Real Estate Open Houses

Guilford Police say other towns —  even towns in other states —  want to talk to an an Old Saybrook they arrested after jewelry thefts from real estate open houses.

Police charge that 26-year-old Angela Marie Ruitto visited open houses in towns around Connecticut and New York ,  but not as a potential real estate buyer. After her visits,  owners reported jewelry missing.  She was  charged with third degree larceny in Guilford and released on a promise to appear in court.  Then, Glastonbury police took her into custody in a similar case in their town.
