Five Injured In Head-On Crash

Bristol police are investigating a head-on crash about 8:30 a.m. Saturday that left five people injured.

Police say a Cadillac westbound on Stevens Street crossed the center line near Cherry Hill Drive and hit a GMC Acadia head-on.

The driver of the car and driver and three passengers in the SUV all  were trapped in the vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters.

Two passengers in the SUV,   identified as 83-year-old Sophie White and 84-year-old Evelyn Petosa,  both of Bristol,  are in critical condition.  The driver of the vehicler,  70-year-old Penelope Sobeleweski of Bristol,  suffered minor injuries.  Another passenger,  66-year-old Mary Ann Spirto of Bristol, is in serious condition.

The driver of the first car,  21 year old Elvis Caban is in serious condition.

Traffic investigattors are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Bristol police.
