Two Remain In Critical Condition After Norwalk Fire

NORWALK, Conn. (AP) _ Two of four men injured in a house fire in Norwalk on Sunday remain hospitalized in critical condition.

A family friend told The Hour of Norwalk ( ) that 22-year-old Michael Ness of Norwalk and 22-year-old David Dubrow of Miami, Fla., are in critical condition in the burn ward of Bridgeport Hospital.
The friend says a third man is being treated at Bridgeport Hospital for burns and smoke inhalation, but isn’t in critical condition. A fourth man has been released from Norwalk Hospital after being treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters responded to the home on Pettom Road shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday. One resident jumped from a second-floor window and another from a first-floor window. Ness and Dubrow were trapped inside.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
