Woman Accused In Attempted Assault On Boyfriend

A woman is under arrest in South Windsor after police there say she violated a protective order and attacked her boyfriend.

It happend around one o’clock Sunday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the home on Oakland Road.

That’s where they say 23-year-old Lisa Giano threatened the homeowner and threw knives at him.

The man escaped unhurt.

Giano, of Manchester, faces a litany of charges including criminal violation of a protective order, trespass, and attempted assault.

Bond has been set at $100,000.
