Drugs Taken in East Windsor Robbery

The search continues for a man who stole a large quantity of prescription drugs from the Rite Aid Pharmacy  on Bridge Street in East Windsor Thursday afternoon.

Police say the suspect approached the  Pharmacist on duty  just before 5 o’clock and asked for assistance. When the Pharmacist approached the suspect  forced open a small door , gained access to the safe , filled a plastic garbage bag  with drugs and fled.

The  man being sought  is white or possibly Hispanic , five foot seven to five foot  ten  one hundred  fifty to one hundred sixty pounds .He was wearing  a  blue baseball cap, dark  t shirt,and  khaki shorts.

The suspect ran to a  green station wagon, possibly a Ford parked on North Main Street.The vehicle then fled north  toward Enfield..
