Body Pulled From The Connecticut River In Middletown

Authorities in Middletown pulled a body from the Connecticut River Saturday afternoon.

The Middletown Police Marine Unit received a call around 3pm Saturday of a body in the waters north of the Arrigoni Bridge.

Police say two fisherman on the river between Wilcox Island and the Middletown shore spotted the body.

Fire crews assisted in the recovery.

Investigators believe it’s a man’s body and are withholding identification while they continue the investigation and notify the victim’s family.
