White Powder Found On Plane At Bradley Airport

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) — State police are investigating after white powder was found on a plane that landed at Bradley International Airport.

Airport spokesman John Wallace says the powder was found in a bathroom of a JetBlue aircraft Monday night.

Wallace says the plane landed safely without incident at Bradley and passengers were allowed to deplane. The flight crew had to take decontamination showers as a precaution. No injuries were reported.

Officials say the incident did not have an impact on airport operations or cause delays to any incoming or outgoing flights.

Flight 460 originated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
