DEEP Investigates Two Hazmat Situations

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is reporting a pair of hazmat incidents they are working.

DEEP says this morning at Rocky Hill High School, workers were moving chemicals when a bottle of nitric acide fell and broke.

There’s no word yet on any injuries or whether any evacuations will be necessary.

In the second incident, road debris in Mansfield punctured a saddle tank on a truck.
