New London Police Arrest Juvenile, Two Adults In Moped Thefts

New London police have arrested two adults and one juvenile, charged with stealing mopeds at gunpoint in the city, early Saturday morning.

According to police, Hassan Foster-Carney, 18, of Norwich and Dwayne Miller, 18, of New London, along with the unnamed juvenile, robbed the first victim of a moped around 12:40 a.m. Saturday in the area of Ashcraft Road.

A few hours later, police say the three robbed a second victim of a moped in the Wendy’s Parking lot on Colman Street.

There were no injuries in either robbery.

Foster-Carney and Miller are being held on $50,000 bond. The juvenile has been transported to a juvenile detention facility in Hartford.
