Four Teens Injured in Crash Outside Nehantic State Forest

Four teens were injured when the pick-up truck they were riding in collided into a tree upon entering Nehantic State Forest off Keeney Road in Lyme Friday night.

Two boys and two girls were in the vehicle, they were going swimming. Officials on scene said speed was a factor in the crash.

Two of the occupants were treated and released from local hospitals. One of the girls was taken to Hartford Hospital via Life Star. Her condition is not known. A male was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital listed in serious to critical condition.
