Fatal Crash in Farmington At Routes 4 And 10

A Bristol man is dead and a female passenger was taken to Hartford Hospital after their car  crashed into a building at the Farmington Country Club at the intersection of Routes  4 and 10  just after 3:30 Sunday morning.The car was found 5 feet off the ground inside the building. The crash cut  gas and water lines  when it slammed into the  building.

The driver 33  year old Thaddeus  Singleton the Third was pronounced dead at the scene.His passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The  intersection, which was closed for hours, reopened late Sunday morning.

Any witnesses to the  crash or with information  that might be helpful  to the investigation  are asked to call Farmington Police at (860)-675-2400.
