Norwalk Police Continue Robbery, Shooting Case Probe

Police in Norwalk continue to investigate the robbery and shooting of a woman last fall in a supermarket parking lot.

Last October 10, officers say a woman was approached in the lot at the Connecticut Avenue Stop and Shop and shot in the stomach.  She did survive.

Investigators say following the incident, the suspect traveled to the South Norwalk Metro North train station.  Pictures from video surveilance show the suspect in several areas of the train station that day.

Police say their suspect is a black male between five-foot-10 and six feet.  He appears to be in his early 20, has a thin build, is bald and sports a goatee or “chin strap” beard.

They also say the suspect may not be from the area but resides in the greater New York, New Haven, or Hartford areas.

Norwalk police continue to ask anyone with any information to call their tipline at (203) 854-3111.  Tips can also be texted to NPD, followed by the message, and then be sent to CRIMES 274637.
