Police in Vernon are continuing their investigation into a bank robbery.
Now, detectives are being assisted by the FBI in their attempt to collar the suspect in the Friday morning stickup at the People’s United branch in the Tri-City Plaza.
Lieutenant William Meier says they’re interested talking to anyone who may have been in the area between 5:30 and 7:30 friday morning.
They say the suspect ordered an employee into the bank before opening, was given an undetermined amount of cash and fled in the employee’s vehicle.
Anyone with any information should contact Vernon police.
