Later today, Connecticut’s commissioner for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will discuss key legislation passed this session in the General Assembly.

Commissioner Dan Esty says the bills allow Connecticut to continue to move forward with its 21st century energy and environmental agenda.

Some of the measures expected to be discussed on the envirionment side: clean water funding, cleanup of contaminated sites, waste transformation, dam safety, and coastal resiliency.

As far as energy, efficiency, cleaner electricity, natural gas and transportation.
