A man under arrest for drug possession in West Haven is also facing charges for having a child in the car with him at the time.

On Wednesday, residents called police to report a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Peck and Leete Streets.

Arriving officers found three men in the car.  The driver, 31-year-old Henry Daniels, admitted to police that he had drugs in the vehicle.

Also in the car was a three-year-old child in a booster seat.

Daniels faces a litany of charges, including possession of narcotics, possession of a hallucinogen, possession with intent to sell, and risk of injury to a minor.
