There were no serious problems reported as a result of our most recent bout with Mother Nature.

Storm Andrea dropped the predicted two-to-four inches of rain.

There were some problems on highways Friday evening as cars spun out as a result of the heavy rain.  Some lane closures were also reported.

State police noted ponding on roadways.

Flood watches and warnings were posted before the height of the storm last night.

Connecticut Light and Power reported several hundred outages scattered about the state.  United Illuminating reported under 100 as of nine o’clock this morning.
