It was a busy early morning for the Hartford Fire Department.
Just before 1:30, firefighters arrived to find a three-story home ablaze on Homestead Avenue.
The fire went to two alarms and forced about 50 firefighters to attack it from the exterior.
No injuries were reported and it took about two hours to quell the house fire.
While battling that blaze, firefighters were called to a Windsor Avenue auto repair shop.
Fire Captain James McLoughlin says that fire started in one car, spread to four others and ultimately a building.
One firefighter sustained a possible concussion in the garage blaze.
Both incidents are under investigation.
